Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering


Work Experience: 1+ year of total experience in a Space / Automotive company, startup or a technical team

Role Description:
The CTO’s office at Pixxel is at the forefront of driving technological innovation and strategic initiatives in the field of space technology. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to work in the CTO’s office supporting engineering design and operations at Pixxel. The candidate will contribute to space projects, research, and documentation, while gaining insight into the technology and engineering developments at Pixxel.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Assist in writing technical proposals, feasibility studies and other mission-oriented industry research and documents
  2. Assist in coordinating engineering design meetings, preparing presentations, and compiling reports
  3. Support with managing space division budget and roadmap, create and maintain general technical documentation for engineering processes and roles / responsibilities of teams 
  4. Enhance customer and vendor engagements through meetings, office visits, conferences and other external events
  5. Study and monitor industry and global trends for emerging technologies for Pixxel's use


Desirable Skills & Certifications:

  1. Basic knowledge of satellite systems, earth observation, remote sensing, or communication technologies.
  2. Attention to detail: Writing technical documents and proposals require meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Analytical skills: Will have to analyze complex systems and data to identify and solve problems. The candidate should be comfortable with mathematical modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  4. Communication: Strong project reporting skills are required. The candidate will be working with a team of engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders and will be required clearly to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  5. Proven experience and track record in creating and executing strategic technical programs.
