About the role
Muon seeks a Contract Office & Recruiting Associate to join our team onsite in Mountain View, CA. The first and most critical mission for this role is greeting candidates and guests at our Mountain View Office. Additionally, this role will support our recruiting team by scheduling candidates and ensuring they have a positive experience while interviewing at Muon. This role may also be involved in other areas of recruiting such as posting new roles, or assisting with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other data cleanup. This is a contract position.
Location: This role will be located at our Headquarters in Mountain View, California and requires on-site presence Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5PM. This role does not include a work-from-home option.
Responsibilities

Oversee Muon’s guest check-in process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all visitors

Assist with hosting candidates for onsite interviews

Receive basic mail packages and/or redirect larger deliveries as appropriate to our receiving area

Provide support for recruiting or other company events from time to time. (Note: some events may occasionally be held after regular work hours.)

Coordinate onsite, phone, and virtual candidate interviews

Update and maintain interview schedules and candidate status notes in our ATS on a daily basis

Assist with some basic office tasks from time to time, if bandwidth allows
Requirements

Must be able and willing to reliably work in the Mountain View office 5 days per week from 8:30AM -5PM (This role does not offer a WFH option)

1-2+ years of administrative experience, including scheduling meetings or interviews

Strong computer literacy, including expertise in Google Workspace

Strong organizational skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.

Initiative in resolving problems with enthusiasm, positivity and an energetic approach to work

Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week.

Willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed, whether the task is exciting or mundane.

The ability to hold confidentiality and demonstrate discretion

Willingness to support events after regular business hours (approx 1-2 times per quarter)

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
Nice-to-have Skills

Experience supporting a recruiting team in a fast paced, start-up environment

Experience with ATS tools such as Greenhouse or Ashby

Experience working in tech companies
Salary:
The salary range for this role is $18-$28/hr and will depend on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process.
