Title: FPGA Engineer
Segment: Voyager Space - Technology (Space Micro)
Job Type: Full Time - 100% Onsite
Location: San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, test, and integration of complex, high speed FPGAs (mostly Xilinx)
- Develop architectures compatible with embedded Linux environments.
- Design and support top-level system simulations.
- Fully document design details and hold a design review prior to implementation
- Work in a fast-paced development team, working closely with hardware and software engineers during test and integration
- Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures.
- Develop FPGA designs using HDL (VHDL, System Verilog, etc.).
- Support systems integration and Test Engineering to produce functional designs.
- Implement and contribute to the architecture of current and next generation multi-megapixel camera systems, interfacing with the Camera Link and SpaceWire standards.
- Design systems capable of handling Imager data and Image processing (Embedded Camera Development).
- Create and document test plans to assure integrated performance meets specification.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 or more years of experience in design, test, and integration of complex, high speed FPGAs
- Experience with lab equipment
- Ability to read, understand, and review schematic drawings
- Experience with technical documentation
- Ability to multitask and handle a dynamic work environment
Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000
