Position Overview: SpaceWorks is seeking an aerospace engineer to drive new sales for our internally developed software products including trajectory flight simulation & optimization, hypersonic propulsion system design, liquid rocket engine design, and high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics. These products are sold under licensing terms ranging for single-users up to site-wide agreements on an annual recurring basis. This position is in Atlanta, GA. Periodic travel is anticipated. This is a commission-based sales position with OTE of $125,000-$175,000 per year.
What You'll Do:
You’ll be at the forefront of our software sales efforts, helping clients unlock the full potential of our suite of industry-leading tools.
- Be the face of our products by conducting dynamic software demonstrations that capture the attention of key decision-makers across defense, NASA, and the commercial space sectors.
- Shape the future of aerospace software by collaborating with our technical teams, providing valuable customer feedback, and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Build lasting partnerships by cultivating strong relationships with new and existing clients, offering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Drive your success by identifying opportunities, closing deals, and achieving sales targets that make a real impact on the growth of our business.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or experience in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and engage with customers effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with a passion for driving sales
- Ability to work independently with little oversight as well as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance
