This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams and locations.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Analyst/Admin to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Financial business intelligence division, you will directly impact our financial transformation, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with stakeholders across various business units. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to work with financial planning tools will be vital for success in this role. You will help improve our financial planning capabilities as our business continues to grow, and we launch our transformation of the finance organization.

This is a full-time position in Kent, WA with relocation available for chosen candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and administer our financial planning software, including handling hierarchy changes, user access, and system configurations.
  • Investigate significant or unusual variances and identify process improvements.
  • Query data inside of our financial application, as well as externally in our data warehouse, and will maintain the integrity and quality of our financial data.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from different business units to understand their requirements and optimize the software’s functionality.
  • Support all aspects of finance and planning across the company, including the implementation of the monthly business rhythm, processes, procedures and tools.
  • Help prepare our BI team and Finance organization for a possible migration to another financial planning application in the near future.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years in system analysis/admin roles, preferably in financial planning
  • Extensive experience with financial planning tools such as Planful, Planning Analytics, Oracle, OneStream, etc.
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Analytical mentality
  • Knowledge of financial statements and performance metrics
  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Strong communications skills and ability to converse with non-technical business partners.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with partners.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $113,760.00-$159,264.00

Other site ranges may differ
