Job Overview & Responsibilities
As an Electrical RF Engineer within the Vehicle & Ground Systems (VGS) Airborne Avionics Systems team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating RF (S-Band, L-Band, GPS, etc.) Telemetry Systems for ULA launch vehicles.
Responsibilities may include:
- Definition of launch vehicle RF system and component requirements.
- Working with component engineers and hardware suppliers in support of component development, acceptance, and qualification testing.
- Supporting integration of components on to the vehicle.
- Developing test procedures to ensure requirements are met.
- Developing and executing system-level tests in the integration labs.
- Performing software and hardware data reviews.
- Performing RF Compatibility analyses for ULA missions.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with & knowledge of various RF tracking and telemetry systems.
- Proficient at working with integrated hardware and software teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, coordination and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable communication skills (verbal and written; including presentations).
- Available to work launch-related issues outside of business hours and available to travel when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with systems engineering and system integration.
- Ability to present in front of customers and working with customers.
- Experience working independently while being a great team member.
- Candidates are self-motivated with demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and leadership skills during past work experience.
- Solid understanding of problem definition and issue resolution process steps.
Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only): $72,184.00 - $112,714.00
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
