Requirements

 

An opportunity to join us during a period of substantial growth as we prepare to launch our new cutting-edge products. ​ 

Based on site in our Reading offices you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications 
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections using a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment 
  • Record and report inspection data, including defects and non-conformities, in accordance with established procedures 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions 
  • Support in creating and preparing process documentation 
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance quality control processes 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols

Ideally, You'll Have: 

  • Experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably from within a regulated industry 
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and methods 
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents 
  • Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges 
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Certification in quality inspection or related field is a plus 
  • Flexibility to travel to our logistics hub in Thatcham from time to time
