Electrical Engineer Intern

Blue Canyon Technologies is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer Intern to join our BCT Summer in Space Internship program. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. This will be a full-time position for the summer for approximately 11 weeks, starting at the end of May 2025.

Title: Electrical Engineer Intern

Position Type: Summer Internship

Pay Range: $27.56 or $29.29/hour (Salary rate to be determined by the education - explained in interview)

Location: Boulder, CO

Job Responsibilities:

• Circuit design to include schematic capture and PCB layout tasks under the mentorship of experienced electrical engineers
• FPGA coding & simulation under the mentorship of experienced electrical engineers
• Electronics hardware test in an awesome electronics lab environment
• Development work is executed in a team environment spanning multiple programs with engineers from various disciplines
• Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS university program and working towards a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Candidate should have completed basic Electrical Engineering courses in electronics & circuit analysis
• Basic experience in lab environment from attending university courses
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Position Details:

• Approximate 11 week paid internship (5/27/2025 - 8/8/2025)
  
• 40 hours per week
• No relocation assistance

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.  However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require BCT to shorten or extend the application window.
