In this role, you will provide communications systems engineering expertise to a government program management office within the Space Systems Command (SSC) Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Delta. You’ll help the program office acquire and deliver electromagnetic warfare (EW) warfighting capabilities with a focus on cost, schedule, and technical performance. You’ll work with EW programs that include the Meadowlands Counter Communications System (CCS), the Space Electromagnetic Warfare Operating Location (SEWOL), Remote Modular Terminals (RMTs), and the EW Threat Integration Program (EWTIP). You’ll also help the program office identify future capability needs.
You’ll be part of Aerospace’s Space Domain Superiority Directorate within the Special Programs Division. The Special Programs Division supports a broad portfolio of Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power missions for the United States Space Force (USSF).
Work Model
This is an interactive, government-facing role that requires you to be 100% in-person with our government partner during work hours in El Segundo, California.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide electronic communications expertise through mission analyses, specification of requirements, architectural trades, feedback on contractor design and development details, assessments of program risks and opportunities, and system verification through testing and analysis
- Effectively work with members of the government, Aerospace, and other contractors
- Take initiative to identify and be responsive to program office needs
- Coordinate and organize work done by Aerospace and its Engineering & Technology Group (ETG) on behalf of the program office
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in reports and briefings with government stakeholders and Aerospace management on plans, progress, and system details
- Share your expertise and program knowledge to help develop other employees
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, computer science, or another related technical field
- 12 or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience in the national security space mission area
- Professional technical experience with electronic communication systems
- Ability to travel up 10-20% of the time
- This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to be granted and maintain accesses to Special Access Programs. Clearances and accesses are issued by the US government. US citizenship is a minimum requirement to obtain a security clearance and receive additional accesses

- An advanced degree in a relevant technical area

- Expertise in DoD acquisitions, systems engineering, information technologies, cybersecurity, or a combination thereof
- Current or previous accesses to Special Access Programs
