Job description
ALL.SPACE is seeking an experienced Project & Quality Systems Manager to join our Quality Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in New Product Development and Introduction (NPD/NPI) processes, with a solid background in design for manufacture within complex electronics/electromechanical environments. In addition to overseeing project quality assurance activities, the candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s QMS to support current and future projects, enabling ISO accreditation readiness.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company at a pivotal moment in its growth and contribute significantly to its success.
Requirements

- Ensure quality is embedded across all systems, processes, and functions within the organisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, and NPI) to establish and implement project delivery frameworks, including gate audits, ensuring timely and quality-focused project delivery.
- Drive a "right first time" approach in product development by facilitating the use of quality tools such as DFx, DFMEA, 5Y, and Ishikawa.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory legislation and provide quality assurance approval for internal project documentation.
- Lead lessons learned reviews, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, and NPI to clarify product requirements, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in project documentation and outputs.
- Manage critical-to-quality metrics and quality targets, ensuring projects meet quality standards and objectives.
Quality Management Systems (QMS) Development:
- Lead the development, setup, configuration, and management of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it supports current operations and future scalability.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and document QMS processes that align with business goals, positioning the company for future ISO accreditation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all QMS-related activities, driving continuous improvement in quality management practices.
- Provide guidance on integrating quality practices with other business functions to foster a culture of quality throughout the organisation.
- Identify and implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees to enhance understanding and adherence to the QMS and quality-related processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both project quality management and quality management systems, ideally within electronics/electromechanical product environments.
- Extensive knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) and Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Strong understanding of design for manufacture principles and the ability to apply quality tools such as DFx, DFMEA, 5Y, and Ishikawa.
- Experience with the development and implementation of QMS frameworks, ideally in preparation for ISO accreditation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of fostering collaboration across departments.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in relevant industries.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, ensuring alignment with both project and organisational goals.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in leading QMS implementation for ISO accreditation (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar).
- A background in high-tech product development or manufacturing environments, with a focus on complex electronics or electromechanical systems.
- Previous experience in roles involving quality oversight across the entire product lifecycle, from design to manufacturing to market introduction.
