What does this role look like?
Join a fast paced dynamic team engaged in designing the Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• You will work with a team of engineers for the development of Special Test Equipment that requires research, test equipment/system development, for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Avionics, RF Systems, Control Systems Telemetry, Electro-Optical and Radiation Detection Equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components using analog and digital data acquisition and control systems, FPGA, real-time systems, computers; and control and test equipment.
You will design automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Experience developing/designing STE systems as well as card/box level STE.
• Experience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level STE.
• Experience with cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.
• Automated Test System Hardware / Software design and integration experience.
• 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 7+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• For this position, an active DOD Interim Secret clearance or higher is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered an emerging authority.
• Significant experience with the design, development and integration of Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment.
• For this position, an active DOD Interim Secret clearance or higher is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
