Role: 

The Junior RF Antenna Design Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop state-of-the-art communication antennas for use in space or a challenging environment. He will be part of or lead a team of designers to perform RF analysis of antenna system performance.

 

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Use industry-standard modeling tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, Feko, Ticra) to predict performance characteristics in the given environment. For example, conducting pattern analysis and evaluation while including coupling to spacecraft and other antennas.
• Participate in R. and D programs and proposal preparation.
• Participate to definition reviews (internal design reviews, preliminary definition reviews [PDRs], critical definition reviews [CDRs]) to ensure that RF performance requirements are met.

 

Minimal Qualifications Required: 

• Sc. in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• The candidate must have a background in electrical engineering with solid bases in electromagnetism.
• Familiar with programming language (Matlab, Python, batch).
• No minimum experience
• Motivated person with a sense of initiative.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
