Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Mechanical Engineer IV to design and build revolutionary motion control and actuation systems for the most thrilling aerospace applications!

Responsibilities:

Execute high reliability mechanical design and analysis for long life space applications.
Design mechanical systems including bearings, gears, motors, and rotating mechanisms.
Oversee, support, and troubleshoot assembly of engineering, qualification, and production hardware.
Analyze client specifications and develop responsive solutions supported by engineering analysis and or test data.
Generate design documentation and vendor specifications.
Support assembly and test including environmental testing, shock, vibration and thermal.
Proactively identify roadblocks to technical progress and take steps to mitigate/avoid.
Review test data and recommend changes to products and/or processes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience.
Proficient with a variety of computer aided design & analysis.
Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
Previous aerospace industry experience is a plus.

Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
