Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2025 Master Production Scheduler Intern. In this role you will
Analyze the Orion spacecraft product structure and work with stakeholders to develop detailed master production schedules. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management to develop & analyze production schedules, capacity requirements, execute the plan, provide timely status and expedite or develop work around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to determine a time-phased plan for procured parts and execute processes to ensure production schedule requirements are met.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of: Project Management (production scheduling & critical path methodologies), Industrial Engineering, Product Life Cycle (design, build, test, release, outcome)

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Enrolled in Bachelors degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or other related discipline from an accredited college
• Knowledge of SAP MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) processes or comparable ERP/MRP experience
• Must be a United States citizen

• An interest in pursuing a career in production planning, supply management, or industrial engineering
• Knowledge of program & engineering planning and how production schedules relate to the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Engineering technical mindset to comprehend complex spacecraft assembly flows
• Written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with managers, directors, co-workers, and customers to maintain a viable working relationship

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
