The Enterprise Operations Analysis (EOA) team is searching for a high energy individual with a thorough background in astrodynamics, satellite operations, and/or Space Domain Awareness. The selected candidate will lead modeling, simulation, and analysis studies that provide data inspired insights to leaders across multiple Lines of Business within Lockheed Martin Space, helping shape their strategies to meet customer needs.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Lead and perform studies to model and analyze ground-based and space-based sensing performance and trades of space targets (e.g. collection, resource allocation, access, gaps, etc.)
• Regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their analysis needs, plan analysis tasks, and lead small teams to deliver valuable findings to stakeholders
• Present findings to key stakeholders assessing company performance under a variety of configuration options to encourage resolution making
• Help various programs establish Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for space protection.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with modeling, simulating, and analyzing satellite systems
• Programming and Scripting experience using MATLAB, Python, and/or R
• Experience in modeling and simulation tools such as STK or AFSIM
• Current TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with astrodynamics, Space Domain Awareness, satellite operations, resiliency, space security, space control
• Experience with Department of Defense, Intelligence Agency, civil, or commercial satellite programs
• Programming and scripting experience using MATLAB, Python, R, or other languages
• Experience leading small engineering teams
• Demonstrated track record of authoring final deliverables documenting analysis methodology, assumptions, and conclusions
• Strong Math, Physics, and/or Statistics background
• Demonstrated capability to proactively work through difficult technical, project and resource challenges in often ambiguous circumstances
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully between multiple engineering disciplines
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
