EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Assembler in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our office in Germantown, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to assemble electronic components, including printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring, and connectors using hand tools and automated machinery.

• Visually inspect assembled equipment to ensure quality and functionality.

• Ability to test and record completed tasks to maintain records.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.

• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Basic Requirement:

• High school diploma or equivalent

 

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

• Fine motor skills for handling small components.

Preferred Qualification:

• Technical training or certification in electronics is a plus

• Previous experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing is preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.

• Proficiency with hand tools and automated assembly equipment.

• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

• Knowledge of computers and assembly process.

• Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
