Job description

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will provide hands-on technical support with maintenance and repair of tooling and equipment to support spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of tooling and equipment fabrication, maintenance, repair, and support. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Qualifications:

7+ years’ experience maintaining and repairing industrial machines or aerospace tooling and equipment
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to support any shift as required
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Desired:

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Understanding PLC's and Motor Starter controls
Understanding reliability centered maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
Experience with using various hand and power tools
Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
Understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques Experience operating fork trucks, scissor lifts, high reaches, and other powered industrial vehicles
Understanding of best practices related to 5S incorporation and to FOD elimination

Benefits

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
