The Role:

MDA is seeking an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst (ERP) to be part of the Business Systems Team working to maintain the Infor LN ERP operating environment and associated subsystems. The Business Systems Analyst analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
  • Designs details of automated systems
  • Provides consultation to users in the area of automated systems
  • Leads cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
  • Provides technical design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, system and technical support for ERP related initiatives
  • Follows the release cycles and implement on-time delivery of bug fixes, change requests and enhancements
  • Provides on-call support for the ERP and associated subsystems
  • Provides the necessary foundation of business knowledge to propose recommendations for future direction of business applications
  • Participates in software upgrades and application of patches as required
  • Implement new technologies by participating in the assessment of tools, software, and technological practices
  • Troubleshoot issues related to software, compute, storage and networking
  • Design training programs, create documentation and user guides, and deliver training to other Team Members
  • Facilitate and/or participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new ERP initiatives
  • Provide additional support for ERP Integration technologies and methods
  • Collaborate with other teams, team members and stakeholders
  • Provide general Systems Analysis and Design support for other Business Systems activities as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer/Data Science or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience working within an ERP system
  • 2+ years of experience with Infor LN 10.X, Infor Reporting and Infor ION is an asset. 
  • Significant implementation experience with Baan/Infor LN Applications
  • Complete understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Flow and Finance
  • Critical Thinking, Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and a positive thinker

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Integrations with UKG, HR Systems, Timesheet & Attendance Systems. Project Online, SharePoint Online, Salesforce, Banking Systems
  • Good understanding and ability to apply various process and Design Patterns
  • Hands on experience in Soap/Rest API/web service including hands on experience in building point-to-point integrations
  • Relational Database Experience (SQL Server) - understanding of Data Modeling Concepts
  • Reporting and Business Intelligence platform: Power BI, IBM Cognos, Crystal reports, Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) are a plus or equivalent

Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

The compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 annually. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
