Working in the Mission Management Team
The Mission Management team sits within the Operations team, the engine that drives the delivery of our space mission services. Connecting the technologies developed in house by the Tech team, the requirements from our customers and the tools and support of external key partners and suppliers, are just some of the amazing things we are lucky to do.
What will you be doing?
As a Mission Manager Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of space missions.
You will be assisting in the development and implementation of mission plans, while coordinating with various teams, including engineering, operations, and finance. You will also be preparing and presenting mission reports and updates, and supporting the development of new mission concepts and proposals.
What you need to be successful
- You’ll have a strong understanding of space systems and operations
- You'll have some practical knowledge of project management and how it applies to space mission projects
- You'll be comfortable working in a small company with big ambitions and constrained resources
- You'll be a team player and an enabler, comfortably managing other people and external stakeholders
- You'll have the capacity to foresee events and issues and find efficient solutions that are aligned with the company values and vision.
