The Kayenne Program builds and maintains a secure, hybrid environment that facilitates high priority defense initiatives, in addition to developing and integrating highly-available software applications. This Lockheed Martin-Space position might be for you if you are passionate about working on a DevSecOps Program that provides both development and operations & sustainment (O&S) support to a critical mission.

In this position, the successful candidate will work a variety of asset management and procurements efforts. They must be able to inventory assets, be familiar with property turn in (PTI), shipping assets and generate Bill of Materials via interaction with engineers and have a solid understanding of Cost/Finance aspects and understand the impacts of changes to requirements and Global Supply Chain Management decisions on the configuration. This position requires excellent cross-program coordination to deploy and maintain operations. The successful candidate will also work closely with LMC GSCM to ensure material requirements are executed in a timely manner and meet the on-site need date for each requirement as provided by the program Engineering Team. Communication is key for scrums to work through roadblocks and resolve issues quickly.

Role overview:
Usually works without established procedures, performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of hardware/software asset management, procurement and licensing.

Analyzes requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish the end goal Bill of Material generation(BOM). Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company. Consistently inventorying assets to ensure a 100% accountability of accountable assets.

Basic Qualifications:
Prior experience with hardware/software procurement and related costing efforts.

Experience with asset tracking to include shipping and destruction of assets.

Highly experienced with spreadsheet manipulations (e.g., pivot tables, lookup tables, etc).

Must have an Active DoD TS/SCI clearance willing to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly

Preference for this requisition will be given to Space Employees.
Desired Skills:
Work with Defense Courier Services (DCS) in order to get assets shipped.

Work with GSCM Team consisting of assigned Program Material Planner and Buyers and internal staff in collaboratively solving problems in cost, mistake-proofing, reliability and affordability

Business communication skills

Procure to Pay (P2P) application familiarity

Demonstrated Business Acumen

Knowledge of the FAR Part 45. Ability to interpret the FAR and supplements, contracts, Standards for the Guiding Principles of Property Management and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as applied to property acquisition, use and disposition.

MS Office Skills primarily Excel

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
