SUMMARY

Location is in Briggs, TX, north of Cedar Park. The Process Technician will be responsible for running the ovens and autoclave, as well as verifying and documenting work. This position is critical to our parts success. Mechanical aptitude and excellent organizational skills are required. The Alpha vehicle is the only American all-composite rocket and composites will fundamentally set Firefly above the competitors.


This position would be for our second shift. Full training is provided. If you have a passion for learning, strong attention to detail, and the idea of building rockets excites you - then we would like to talk to you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training will be available to help everyone be successful.

  • Machinery operational checks
  • Oven scheduling
  • Oven and autoclave operation
  • Documenting tool cycles
  • Verifying documentation
  • Uploading data to work orders
  • Scheduling oven preventative maintenance
  • Tool organization and tool preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining, cleaning, repairing, and preparing layup tools
  • Workcell improvements
  • EHS compliance
  • Rigging
  • Loading and unloading for cures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to follow processes
  • Background in keeping and uploading proper documentation
  • Meticulous craftsmanship
  • Experience working with material data sheets
  • Shop organization and cleanliness
  • Use of personal protective equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Lift 50 Lbs.
