Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Roles and Responsibilities: Serve as a focal point for personnel security within the DoD security team. Primarily responsible for assisting with clearance remediation, training compliance, managing reporting requirements for cleared personnel, and sending classified visits. Requires information input into proprietary systems and excel spreadsheets with a high rate of accuracy. Requires information management in SIMS, excel, and other databases. Knowledge of electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions. Other administrative duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
4 years of Security or related administrative experience; OR 0 years with a Bachelor’s Degree
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
Working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Working knowledge of 32 CFR, Part 117 – NISPOM
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
Working knowledge of NG and U.S. government systems: DISS, SIMS, MySecurity
Excellent customer service and communication skills
