Growth Team Leadership and Operations Internship – Spring 2025

We have a current opportunity for a Growth Team Leadership and Operations Intern located in Merritt Island, FL in the Space Life Sciences Laboratory building at Kennedy Space Center for Spring 2025.  We’re looking for college students with a passion for the space industry and preferably studying one of the following disciplines: Aerospace, Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Management/Operations, Business Development, or Finance.
 
This 12-week internship (with possibility for an extension) will provide you with an inside look to how sales, marketing & communications, and strategy teams operate. You will also get hands-on experience with cross-departmental projects, department budgeting, and communications with executive leadership.
 
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, have excellent communication skills, and eager to learn about operating a sales department for a space industry company.
 
Ideal Experience:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a nationally accredited university or college pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in any of the following preferred disciplines: Aerospace, Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Management/Operations, Business Development, or Finance.
  • Must be within commuting distance to Merritt Island, Florida or willing to relocate for this position.
  • US citizenship or Permanent resident/Green Card holder required (we do not accept visa sponsorship).
Desired Skills:
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the space industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership in college or university coursework, activities, sports, or clubs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft product suite a plus.
