About the Role

Sierra Space is seeking a motivated Real Estate Project Manager to holistically oversee projects and leases managed by the Real Estate & Facilities team. This role encompasses project management, understanding and managing leases, and supporting financial planning and strategic facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Support

Manage Real Estate & Facilities projects, ranging from smaller facility improvements, move planning and collocation of team members to full construction projects.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
Partner with Industrial Engineering teams to integrate operational efficiencies and ensure project alignment with business needs.
Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any risks and scope changes.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Provide regular updates and reports on project status to stakeholders.

Lease Administration

Review new leases for accuracy and support legal teams with final approvals.
Communicate key lease details (e.g., term, base rent, utilities) with relevant stakeholders.
Track and manage rent payments, and coordinate with property managers on additional charges.
Serve as a secondary point of contact for property managers/landlords, addressing lease and payment issues.

Financial Planning & Management

Assist finance teams in planning operational expenditures (opex) and capital expenditures (capex) for real estate and facilities.
Create opex budgets and support estimating capex costs for projects.
Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate asset IDs and financial planning.
Review and approve invoices and IPRs for accuracy and proper budget allocation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, construction management, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in Real Estate project management, lease administration, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of financial planning and lease administration.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Proficiency in project management and financial software.
Self-starter with a strong focus on process improvement

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

$104,827.91 - $144,138.39
