Description:Come be a part of the development of the new Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW). This Position for the Launcher SW Lead. In this role you will provide key technical insight and leadership for the Launcher Software Team and drive key architectural decisions. Successful applicants will have strong Real Time Embedded Development experience couple with C++ and previous leadership experience. An active Secret Clearance is desired but not required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Previous embedded development and C++ experience

• Agile development and processes

• Experience in leading software development team
Desired Skills:
• Previous VxWorks experience

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent team orientation skills

• Experience developing ground software for military systems

• Full software development lifecycle experience

• Strong knowledge of embedded software solutions
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
