Company Overview: At SpaceWorks Enterprises, we specialize in design and development of next-generation high-speed flight systems, human and robotic spacecraft, entry, descent, & landing technologies, as well as a variety of aerospace engineering software. With a 24-year legacy of excellence in the aerospace industry, our core competencies include conducting preliminary design of aerospace concepts, performing detailed multidisciplinary engineering analysis, developing commercial aerospace software, prototyping spacecraft hardware components, and conducting market and economic research within the aerospace industry. We serve clients across the Department of Defense, NASA, and the commercial space sector.


Position Overview: SpaceWorks is seeking an account executive to drive new sales for our internally developed software products: QuickShot, REDTOP, Manta, Cart3D Plus, and Conductor. These products are sold under licensing terms ranging for single-users up to site-wide agreements on an annual recurring basis. This is a commission-based sales position with OTE of $125,000-$175,000 per year.


This position is open to either onsite in Atlanta, GA or Fully Remote. Periodic travel is anticipated.


A DAY IN THE LIFE


  • Learn and master the features and functionalities of our software solutions.
  • Conduct engaging and informative demonstrations of our software to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs / pain points, provide market insights to the senior management team, and find new ways to expand our market reach.
  • Partner with our technical staff to improve software products, support roadmap development, and provide feedback on what customers need.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

            WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


            • 2+ years experience in sales of engineering based software solutions
            • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and engage with customers effectively
            • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
            • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
            • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a passion for driving sales
            • Ability to work independently with little oversight as well as part of a collaborative team
            • Ability to travel as needed
            • Position it open to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents


            BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE...


            • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Development, or Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
            • Experience in the aerospace industry or a related field
