Duties

  • Utilize qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve products and services related to the operations of the Solutions Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) Program Office.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison for the SEWP Program Office’s interactions with private industry and government customers, while guiding NASA and other government personnel on optimizing IT product solution approaches.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact regarding policy management. Utilize advanced analytical skills to break down problems into their core components to resolve complex policy issues.
  • Advise on and resolve operational or strategic issues which may range from recurring through complex and unprecedented.
  • Utilize subject matter practices, laws, regulations, policies, and a range of analytical methods to identify, evaluate, and recommend appropriate solutions for industry and government stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver briefings, project papers, status/staff reports, and correspondence to SEWP Program Office leadership to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
  • May lead or serve on teams as the subject matter specialist/representative or expert, as appropriate.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
  • Preparing detailed reports and synthesizing data from multiple agencies, organizations, or departments for comprehensive analysis and strategic decision-making;
  • Conducting thorough research, review, and interpretation of policies and requirements to ensure program/project compliance;
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders regarding policy management, unit work, and problem resolution, and providing regular status updates to leadership.
