Duties
- Supports Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program Planning and Control (PPC) division specializing in budget planning, execution, and analysis.
- Supports development of the Programming, Planning and Budget Execution (PPBE) products and analysis in complex or dynamic content areas.
- Supports all aspects of budget and financial management including recommending resource allocations based on trends, priorities, or risk evaluation.
- Provides inputs to programmatic products addressing reporting or data requests.
- Evaluates program and project plans to ensure cost, schedule, and technical integration ensuring resource allocations align with programmatic priorities.
- Monitors budget expenditures to identify potential problem areas, reports to program management regularly on financial performance indicators, and recommends corrective action plans as necessary.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
- Executing the budget for assigned business areas and ensures the appropriate funding source is used and funding requests are reasonable;
- Collaborating with stakeholders to determine funding requirements while participating in budget planning efforts;
- Analyzing information gathered from multiple sources and integrating and presenting to management to support decision making.
