Quality Inspector

 

Introduction

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest level of quality in the Space and Defense Industry? Agile Space Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspection of incoming parts, in-process work, and final product using inspection equipment / gauging.
• Identify and report any nonconformances or deviations from quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Accommodate flexible scheduling as dictated by manufacturing needs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in team environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a high cadence environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize a computer. Familiar with Microsoft applications.
• US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED

Preferred:

• Experience working in a quality or inspection role.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.  
• Experience working to AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards.

• Frequently walk, sit, and stand.
• Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.
• Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
• Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
• Frequently lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Employment Type: Non-Exempt

Salary: $17-30 / hr dependent on experience. 

Work Schedule: Full Time
