Position Purpose: The Administrative Assistant I will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of BCT.


Title:  Administrative Assistant I

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00/hour

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet Visitors, direct them to the appropriate personnel, following visitor
  • Maintain Visitor Calendar, populate invites as
  • Procure office supplies and break room drinks and Keep break rooms and office supply area organized and stocked
  • Update and maintain the multitude of conference room calendars for each building in the BCT campus. Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise
  • Perform light clean-up and organizational duties in break areas daily (e.g., load dishwasher, stock supplies, make coffee, tidy up & clean refrigerators when needed)
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating travel for BCT personnel and job candidates. This includes coordinating with travel vendors to make all necessary travel (e.g., air, lodging, car rental) arrangements for assigned staff and visitors; and provide travel itineraries.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all catering requests for BCT customer meetings and internal meetings, as required. Light clean-up will be required
  • Reconcile and submit monthly credit card statements following the current Accounts Payable Guidelines
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, coordinate new employee seating and desks preparation
  • Organize cleaning schedule of ESD jackets
  • Set-up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as correspondence or other materials.
  • Proof-read and format documents, verifying accuracy and completeness of
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents, using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Programs
  • Follow confidentiality of information and general policies and procedures
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Required Qualifications/Education:

  • Advanced to expert skills with MS Office
  • 1-2 years of general clerical experience in an administrative or office support
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, dedicated work style and conscientious about providing top-quality administrative support
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and work independently
  • Ability to remain positive, flexible, and focused in a fast-paced work environment where priorities change frequently
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education



Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.  BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require BCT to shorten or extend the application window.
