We are on the hunt for a Junior Antenna RF Test Engineer  on our Satellite systems antenna team at our Montreal office.

 

Role: 

The Junior Antenna RF Test Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop state-of-the-art test stations to automatise constellation or geostationary antennas production. You will be part of a specialised test team to ensure that the performance of the antennas, once in orbit, will meet customer requirements and provide the communications service required for the mission.

 

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following main activities:

  • Interface with the design team
  • Analysis of test requests
  • Test methods definition and techniques
  • Testing capabilities definition and data test processing
  • Drafting of test plans, procedures and reports
  • Application software development and automatic procedures for RF tests and measurements
  • Test sequences coding and validation
  • RF tests Monitoring  in PIM, Nearfield or Compact Test Range, support for test operations
  • Planning and coordination of the test activities and techniciens team.

 

Minimal Qualifications:

  • The Candidate must have electrical or physics engineering training and a strong Electromagnetic/Microwave background as well as good programming skills.
  • Minimum of B.Sc. or the equivalent in Electrical or Physics Engineering.
  • No minimum experience.
  • Self-driven and motivated individual with good team coordination skills and interest test methodologies.

 

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
