This role is a DevSecOps position focused on the development of modern pipelines to support our Mission Processing software teams.

This position will work with engineers, developers, and scientists across the Mission Processing team to deliver new capabilities and support their current needs. You will be providing day-to-day user support of multiple development environments and collaborating with senior engineers to design the DevSecOps architecture. GitLab pipeline creation and improvement is a large component of this position, and candidates will be given the opportunity to grow their scripting/programming skills. This will include working with multiple container run-times to deploy applications across the environment. You will partner with multiple development teams to help ensure their CI/CD Pipelines can fully leverage the infrastructure.

This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.

Basic Qualifications:
• Scripting and/or Programming (Python, Shell, Powershell, C++, etc.)
• Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability
• Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all levels of the organization
Desired Skills:
• Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift)
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and version control such as Git
• Test Driven Development Experience
• Container Hardening/CIS Blueprint implementation Experience
• Full Stack/Microservice Application Architecture knowledge
• C++/Java/Golang/C#/Rust/React Build System Knowledge
• Cloud Provider Experience
• Familiarity with DoD Platform One and/or Software Factory Implementations
• Agile Lifecycle Management
• Artifact Management
• Experience with Static Code Analysis Tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $89,600 - $171,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
