Job Type: Full Time  - 100% Onsite

Position Description: This person will be a liaison between the Program Manager and Engineering supporting the financial constraints of the project and project budget and the schedule for the project to reach completion.  This person will support the tasks required to fulfil the projects goals along with personnel to deliver a successful project outcome that is fit for purpose.   This role also entails tracking CDRLs and DID requirements, execution, and submittals as well as overseeing risk register. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Working with the Program Manager, you will have responsibility for coordination of tasks and activities, maintaining regular reviews and communications to ensure alignment of and progression of these projects.
  • Oversight of the Integrated Master schedule and tracking
  • Risk and Opportunity task tracking and closure
  • Engineering coordination, tracking of action items, ensuring timely communications to the program team.
  • Coordinate Design Reviews: KO, SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, both internal and external.
  • Coordinates with PMO, EE, ME, SW/FW, Component Engineering teams, Production, Supply Chain and customer. 
  • Develop and Maintain metrics management and visual controls to ensure timely completion of analysis/design activities.
  • Leverage lessons learned and program read across to develop engineering best practices.
  • Advises or directs the planning for the implementation of engineering solutions, including strategic objectives and timetables.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company SOPs as well as external regulations and laws – this includes maintenance of project documentation
  • SDRLs and DIDs: Tracking, submittal, analysis, testing, validation, etc. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or experience equivalent. 
  • Seven or more years of related project engineering experience
  • In-depth knowledge of project management throughout entire project life cycle.
  • Understanding of technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Work background demonstrating attention to detail and ability to successfully perform job under pressure and tight deadlines is a necessity.
  • Proven excellent team building and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with executive leadership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Preferences:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • PMP certification

 

 

Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000/year
