Job Title: Product Strategy and Operations Manager

Maxar is actively seeking a Product Strategy and Operations Manager to join our Product team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the orchestration of critical product release functions including, product rollout, product lifecycle management, and assessments of overall product maturity. A key responsibility is to partner with Product Managers through the product rollout process, developing connections with the operations & engineering through product development, and facilitating product processes to ensure that we are optimizing opportunities for maximum product revenue. Additionally, you will manage tools used in conjunction with our processes to help maintain efficiency & velocity. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking, strong project management skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in optimizing our product development and launch processes while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales, to develop and execute product operations strategies.
  • Define and implement product development processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive the execution of product launches, including coordinating timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain various SharePoint sites, that serve as critical document repositories for product launch deliverables and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, process workflows, and other key product collateral.
  • Generate and distribute communications around product roadmap status and other key product milestones.
  • Act as a key liaison between product management, engineering, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product roadmap priorities and timelines.
  • Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to product operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product operations and recommend innovative solutions.
     

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Be in Colorado or willing to relocate
  • Bachelor's degree in a geospatial discipline, business discipline, or a related field. Four additional years of
    experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product operations, project management, or related roles within the technology industry
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with change management strategies and processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Experience with tools like JIRA or Aha!

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$74,000.00 - $122,000.00 annually.
