Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Production Technician to join our team at the Stennis Space Center! If you are hardworking, a self-starter, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment, come join our team!

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret detailed assembly and installation drawings.
• Work with materials which may be light, delicate, and easily damaged.
• Operate a sewing machine.
• Work from diagrams, drawings, written and oral instructions, templates and patterns to measure and cut insulation materials to size and to fabricate/assemble thermal multi layer insulation blankets.
• Work with resistance measurements, using ohmmeters or similar equipment as these measurements will be used as part of the build process and work will be performed in a class 8 clean room.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in manufacturing and/or integration
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and/or written work instructions
• Ability to support scheduled work shift, extended hours and weekends when needed
Desired Skills:
• Experience fabricating MLI thermal blankets
• Experience sewing
• Experience working from engineering drawings, specifications, and written work instructions
• Experience with VECAM/SAP
• Must have basic Assembly Aptitude
• Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person
• Must be highly motivated and quick learner
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
