Description:The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program is looking for it's next enthusiastic and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join the System Integration Laboratory (SIL) team. This individual will work in a dynamic lab environment that integrates THAAD component software/hardware to support hardware-in-the-loop testing. The SIL supports the Weapon System Engineering, Integration, and Test (WSEIT) organization.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Maintain the SIL lab infrastructure, which includes IT, video, computing assets, COMSEC equipment

• Supporting day-to-day lab operations, which also includes regular interactions with Procurement, Security, Safety, Quality, Property, Shipping/Receiving organizations

• Property Coordinator for SIL assets

• Track/maintain tool calibrations

• Track/renew licenses used by the SIL team

• Support development and sustainment of the lab environment, troubleshooting issues that arise during test activities

• Support the SIL's Certified Principal Engineers and engineering team

• Flight Mission Support

• Prepare lab for customer tours

• Working in a team-oriented lab environment


The candidate must be able to interact well with peers, leadership, customers, and subcontractors. They must also possess the ability to support technical discussions and communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), development, or lab environment
- Familiar with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.

- US Citizenship and the ability to acquire/maintain a DoD clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Interact well with peers, leadership, customers, and subcontractors

- Active DOD Secret Clearance

- Familiarity with the THAAD Weapon System

- Experience working with Quality Assurance personnel

- Network configuration and administration

- Working with COMSEC equipment

- Video display and routing

- KVM over IP networks

- CompTIA Security+ certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
