We are looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer to locate and engage talent for our Engineering teams. Supporting the technical recruiting team, you will use your relationship skills and sourcing expertise to find both active and passive technical talent.
 
This is a multifaceted job that requires both outstanding organizational skills and the ability to understand, promote, and develop the core culture of a small company. Technical Sourcing activities will include sourcing candidates from a variety of platforms, management of online postings, and helping to develop high impact recruiting strategies. You will work closely with Cesium engineering and business staff to develop and execute recruiting projects and priority needs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to develop an intimate understanding of the business needs and open positions.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including online platforms, social media, and industry events, to identify and attract high-quality technical candidates.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging talent pools to provide insights and recommendations for effective sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively reach out to potential candidates, creating compelling messages to spark their interest in opportunities at CesiumAstro.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Screen and qualify passive candidates for experience, competencies, culture traits and alignments with core values.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Strategically plan and execute impactful sourcing campaigns.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 7+ years of sourcing experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment or high-volume recruiting.
  • 3+ years of technical sourcing experience in niche Engineering roles within the space and defense industry including but not limited to aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and other engineering positions.
  • Experience building and developing pipelines of high-quality engineering candidates.
  • Intuitive sourcing skills and a knack for identifying and engaging top talent.
  • Self-motivated, with a high sense of urgency and a keen eye for details.
  • A motivated, dynamic, and curious mind with excellent research skills.
  • Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and an ATS, Lever a plus.
  • Prior start-up experience a plus.
