Come join the Stormbreaker program as a Network Engineer with a focus in designing and planning network communications systems. In our product-based organization, we are looking for talented engineers to contribute to the success of our sustainment and modernization of the Stormbreaker system in our labs and at our operational sites.

In this role, you will:
• Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Provide technical expertise in areas of network and computer hardware, software interconnection. and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Implement techniques and tools for the most efficient solutions to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

This is an EARLY CAREER (level 2) ROLE where candidates require 2+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.

Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing LAN and WAN networks
• Experience with Linux/RHEL
Desired Skills:
Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing
o Basic Enterprise architecture
o QoS Design
• Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products.
o Nexus OS
o Cisco IOS
o Junos OS
o Taclane
• Certifications in the industry vendors Cisco (CCNA) and Juniper (JNCIA) or higher level certifications
• Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
• Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
• Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible
• Virtualization utilizing VMWare
• Familiarity with NAS/SAN technologies (NFS, FC, iSCSI)
• Document existing and new network architectures using Visio
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
