If you answered yes to the question, we invite you to seize the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Spacecraft Analyst. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our Spacecraft Operations Teams in Darmstadt and contribute different and exiting missions.

What you´ll do

  • Maintain spacecraft and ground segment operational databases, related tools, procedures, and documentation under strict configuration control
  • Develop and maintain custom software tools required for efficient and effective mission planning and preparation tasks
  • Organize, train, and ensure the operational readiness of spacecraft controllers assigned to the mission, in collaboration with other analysts
  • Collect information and data regarding mission performance and provide inputs for mission reports
  • Provide spacecraft control support during special operations when the assigned controller complement is insufficient to meet mission requirements (this task is expected to be necessary only for very limited periods of time)
  • Support the generation of operational reports based on inputs from other FCT members.
  • Consolidate and archive telemetry data
  • Support the development and integration logic for flight operations, data processing centers, services, and operational interfaces
  • Contribute to routine mission plan generation, as required

What we are looking for

  • A degree in Aerospace engineering or in a similar subject
  • Experience with the European Ground Systems – Common Core (EGS-CC) and SCOS-2000
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server) and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
  • Knowledge of office automation tools, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access (use of functions, queries, macros, reports, input forms, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the Linux environment including interactive shells and shell scripting
  • Programming experience (Python, VB, VBA, JavaScript)
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
