Job description

AST SpaceMobile and our global partners are building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network to be accessible by standard smartphones. Called SpaceMobile, this ultra-powerful network is being designed to provide connectivity at 4G/5G speeds everywhere on the planet – on land, at sea and in flight.

Summary:

The custodian will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and keeping the building clean and neat in a safe manner that meets company standard. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and tidying the premises.

Hourly rate is $18.00/hr.

Shifts available are 4:00p.m - 1:00a.m

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring spaces are kept clean by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets
Washing and sanitizing various areas
Restocks consumables and supplies throughout the facility
Ensures a clean, neat and orderly work areas, cleans and maintains supplies, to ensure compliance with safety regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) AND Safety Data Sheet (SDS) standards

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
Attention to detail and conscientiousness
Very good physical condition and strength, able to go up and down stairs constantly and stand for long periods of time
Able to work with limited oversight
Basic knowledge of computers and email communication.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
US Citizen, Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
