Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Construction Maintenance Technician is responsible for but not limited to maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding to support our Facilities Engineering Team.
- Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
- Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Job Duties:
- Customer support includes setting up for site and executive events, coordination with multiple stakeholders and require a high attention to detail.
- Construction activities may include drywall, patch, paint, build, T-ceiling installation and tile replacement and relocate furniture as required. Asphalt repair, concrete repair and placement,
- Support Facilities Construction Project Managers on facilities projects and all other assigned job duties and tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications for the Construction Maintenance Technician 2:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry and or construction environment.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications for the Construction Maintenance Technician 3:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry and or construction environment.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Current DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments.

Salary Range: $48,600.00 - $81,000.00Salary Range 2: $57,800.00 - $96,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
