We are seeking a Drafter Senior Specialist to support the Lockheed Martin Aero Facility and Plant Equipment. This position will be based at LM Aero site in Palmdale, CA.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will provide drafting and other defined services utilizing Microstation V8i when requested.
• You will primarily be responsible to field verify data to update existing electronic drawings to a current as-built state.
• You will review and catalog existing drawings and other related documentation.
• You must be able to perform field walkdown of mechanical and electrical/electronic systems and create as built red lines with sufficient detail for others to incorporate into drawings.

Typical Experience:
• Typically has 5 or more years of professional experience using Microstation V8i/AutoCad to incorporating as-built data and/or field measurements for all disciplines including: Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical HVAC, High Pressure, Plumbing, Office layouts, Utilities and other systems that may require maintenance.
• Must be able to archive, format, store and transfer drawings and document data as directed.
• Perform to generally accepted drafting and engineering standards.
• Must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience with Bentley ProjectWise, Architecture and/or Facilities is a plus.

Basic Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the Maximo EAM system with user experience.
• Working knowledge of the Bentley ProjectWise Software with user experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCad or Microstation Software with experience.
• Demonstrated experience with interpretation of construction drawings, construction specifications, equipment data sheets, equipment operations and maintenance manuals.
• Basic understanding of data base usage and configuration control.
• Demonstrated expertise with MS Office applications
Desired Skills:
Ability to proficiently use Microstation V8i/AutoCad to update existing electronic drawings to current as-built state using red-lined documents and other data provided from field engineers/designers/drafters.
• Prior experience with Bentley ProjectWise, Architecture and/or Facilities is a plus.
• Understanding of documentation naming conventions
• Good interpersonal skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $51,800 - $99,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $59,600 - $107,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
