Job description

Your mission 

More specifically, you will:

  • Operational support of the occupational safety specialist, particularly with regard to further developing a safety culture and improving occupational safety standards
  • Maintenance, management and updating of the occupational safety management system QUENTIC
  • Role as Industrivernleder (Industrial safety manager) this include excercise and competence planning and planning of initial emergency response
  • On-call rotation as Fagleder Industrivern (On-scene commander, industrial safety)
  • Creation and revision of operating instructions and risk assessments
  • Preparation for and participation in audits, as well as being a contact person in case of representation during audits
  • In addition, we trust the preparation and implementation of instructions and trainings in cooperation with the HR department to you
  • Coordination of occupational health care 
  • Communication with authorities
  • Exchange with the department management as well as the safety officers/representatives
  • Support of the department management in the implementation of necessary measures in the field of environmental protection and disposal for sustainable corporate success
  • Contact person for employees regarding questions about occupational safety
  • Conducting constructive-critical discussions to achieve optimizations
  • Providing advice /consulting to internal customers

Who you are and what you have

  • Higher education in occupational safety governance or vocational degree, preferably with additional qualification as an occupational safety specialist or willingness to acquire this
  • Experience in the fields of health protection / occupational safety / environmental protection
  • A high degree of initiative and commitment as well as a pronounced sense of responsibility
  • You are structured, independent and conscientious, and have planning and organizational skills
  • Norwegian and English language skills, both spoken and written, proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge about legal regulations concerning workplace guidelines, accident prevention regulations, guidelines for technical facilities, etc.
  • Strong communication as well as cooperation, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience, analytical thinking and strong communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality
