The People team is at the heart of making sure all of our Open Cosmonauts have a fantastic employee experience and that Open Cosmos remains a Great Place to Work! We provide support to the business through the whole employee life cycle focusing on keeping the OC team highly engaged and attracting high calibre people to our open roles.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you'll be a key member of our ground crew. This is a very active role where no 2 days are the same! One day you could be coordinating university events, the next day supporting our recruitment efforts and ensuring our talented team stays happy, healthy, and ready to explore the HR stratosphere.
But there is more, OC is in full growth mode so you’ll be assisting with our interstellar recruitment, helping us find the next generation of space explorers by scheduling interviews and navigating applicant tracking systems. Get ready to be our launch pad coordinator, helping process new hire paperwork and get them onboard faster than a rocket.
What you need to be successful:
- You’ll need to be comfortable working in word, excel and powerpoint - even better if you’re familiar with GSuite.
- You’ll have the organisational skills of a seasoned astronaut - prioritise and manage multiple tasks with ease.
- You’ll need to be prepared for any unforeseen space anomalies by tackling other administrative duties as assigned.
- You’ll have the communication skills sharper than a laser beam - both written and verbal.
- You’ll be working independently and collaborating as part of a great team.
- You’ll have a positive and proactive attitude - bringing your can-do spirit to every mission!
