Maxar Intelligence is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager our Enterprise team to bring satellite imagery, and derived geospatial solutions to market. In this role you will focus on generating new business and growing existing multi-million-dollar accounts in our strategic commercial markets. As part of a fast-paced, high-growth environment you will collaborate with internal and external C-suite leaders, clients, and customer prospects.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, sophisticated business acumen, and the ability to grow new and existing opportunities. With these skills you will expand upon Maxar’s industry-leading market position with mapping, automotive, telecom, energy, and tech-focused companies. This role will be a 50/50 split and eligible to work remotely in the US.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify and acquire new customers in commercial markets by developing and implementing sales strategies, engaging in prospecting and lead generation activities, and lead negotiations to close high-value deals
- Manage and expand existing multi-million-dollar accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, developing account plans, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Work closely with internal and external C-suite leaders, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, and participating in strategic planning and business development discussions
- Expand Maxar’s satellite imagery solutions into commercial sectors such as mapping, automotive, telecom, energy, and tech by staying informed about industry trends, identifying new market opportunities, and capitalizing on them
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and performance
- Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities, develop and execute business plans
- Ensure alignment of customer needs with Maxar’s solutions by preparing and presenting compelling proposals and presentations, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
- Monitor and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators using CRM tools, tracking sales activities and progress, and adjusting strategies based on performance analysis and feedback
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- 5 + years of sales experience in software and or/data licensing
- High level of organization, planning, and sales knowledge
- Strong communication skills, ability to present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level suite
- Experience selling to large customers and closing multi-million-dollar deals
- Clear understanding of the sales process
- Proven knowledge and experience managing a sales pipeline within Salesforce
- Growth mindset with a desire to continuously adapt and improve
- Openness to feedback and coaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Geography, or Remote Sensing
- Masters Degree in Business (MBA)
- 10+ Years sales experience with proven track-record of exceeding quota
- Knowledge of mapping, satellite imagery, or geospatial products
- Experience with Sandler sales methodology or openness to learn

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$101,000.00 - $169,000.00 annually.
