SSSD has an opening for a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst for their Redondo Beach, CA location. 

The Program Planning Scheduling Analyst will report to the Business Management Scheduling Manager and will perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts.  In this role, the incumbent will make recommendations to solve problems, create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership and will interface with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, as well as the Program/Project Manager. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.  Implements scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: 

• DCMA 14-point
• IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Critical Path Analysis
• Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
• Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis
• Provides weekly status and reporting
• Conducts Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits

 Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in Program Planning & Scheduling, Finance, Pricing, Program Management or Engineering; or a master’s degree with 1 year of Experience in Program Planning & Scheduling, Finance, Pricing, Program Management or Engineering
• Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, and/or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline
• Experience with Microsoft Project Server 2010/2013
• Knowledge with Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development; Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) approach and execution
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and executive leadership
• The ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Government Clearance
• Experience or knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

• This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off work.

Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
