Job description

a.i. solutions is seeking a highly motivated Flight Design Engineer to support the NASA Launch Services Program located at the Kennedy Space Center. The individual will be assigned to the Vehicle Engineering and Analysis (VE&A) department performing tasks related to commercial launch vehicle systems and supporting our NASA customer. The position will ensure that NASA maintains insight into the launch vehicle and spacecraft capabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.

 

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support 3 degree-of-freedom trajectory simulations and other mission-specific modeling/analyses
  • Perform mission analyses such as launch window determination, shadow studies, station coverage and mobile coverage studies, and relative motion studies
  • Support tool development to improve mission requirement verification data processing methods
  • Experience with MATLAB

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of a college degree in Aerospace Engineering or Physics
  • Enrolled full time for Fall 2024
  • U.S. Citizenship required
