Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal Configuration Analyst to its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position is located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
This role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) Leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines. These tasks include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting,
- Development and transfer of technical baselines and conducting configuration audits.
- Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, perform research, and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance.
- Plan schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives.
- Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested.
- Represent your organization as a prime contact on your assigned contract or project.
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 6 years with a bachelor’s degree; 4 years with a master’s degree; or 10 years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Active Secret clearance investigated within the last 5 years with the ability to obtain special access.
- 1 year of experience with/demonstrable knowledge of Configuration and or Data Management standards and practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience administering configuration and data management using GIT Lab, Nexus, Siemens Teamcenter, Jira, SharePoint, Cameo, DOORS.
- Experience with design, process automation, and access control in SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with ICBM Weapon Systems.
- Current Active Top-Secret Clearance.
- Previous work supporting programs which used EIA-649-1, MIL-HDBK-61, or GEIA-859.
- Experience developing and maintaining program plans and process documents.
