We are looking for an Electronics Development Lead Engineer to strongly contribute to the development of control and driving electronics for a various space equipment applications/projects
Your mission
Requirements definition at electronics board level
Detailed design including trade-off, analysis, schematics capturing
Verification of electrical circuits by review, analysis and simulation
Coordination of Unit Interface Equipment (UIE) / EGSE definition and commissioning
Prototype and Flight electronics commissioning and testing
Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) support
Establish and maintain engineering plans and activities schedules (e.g. in MS Project)
Coordination of a small team of development engineers
Establish and maintain progress reports
Liaise with Line Managers and project core team
Lead Engineering Tasks
Control and monitor the team mates in PCB/CCA domain
Ensure process adherence in the electronics development
Timely reporting/flagging to team leaders
Preliminary internal design reviews (schematics, layout, manufacturing files), checkpoint to release for project review team
Lead of internal design reviews (schematics, layout, manufacturing files)
Introduction requests and part reviews (internal gates)
Building-blocks maintenance (also in view of proposals for new designs)
Onboarding of new team members
We look forward to that
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the space, avionics, or defense industry.
A Master's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
Proven experience in architecture definition at the electronics board level, including PCB and CCA (or PCBA) design.
Familiarity with the selection of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) EEE parts.
Expertise in control and digital electronics development, particularly with components such as commercial and flight FPGAs, DSPs, and CPUs.
Experience with EMC design and analysis of electronics systems/sub-systems
Experience in development activities scheduling and coordination
Experience with radiation mitigation techniques in electronics design is an advantage
Experience with Requirements Management with IBM DOORS is a strong plus
Experience with RF design , PCB/CCA Layouting, is an asset
Knowledge of this following tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Python, Mentor Graphics is an asset
Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English
You are self-motivated and commited in connection with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability
Strong communication skills and proven experience in working in international environment
