Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• You will be a member of an Agile Software Development Support team building applications that will solve a variety of complex problems related to software development in the Space domain.
• You will be planning, designing, and implementing software tools and services to solve new and unique problems related to software development in the Space domain that will run in Kubernetes.

This position is in our Colorado Springs, Colorado location. Day Shift, flexible, 9x80 (Every other Friday off) schedule, and the ability to occasionally work from home.

Per the required clearance level, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.

Although DoD TS/SCI clearance is not required to start work if selected, candidates must be able to obtain Active Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI) for continued employment on the program.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python and Bash for developing and managing automated scripted solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, with hands-on experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing Node.js for various tasks, including front-end development, scripting, web services, data visualization, and automation to build efficient and engaging applications.
• Familiarity with GitLab pipelines and fundamental CI/CD workflows.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to learn and utilize additional scripting languages like PowerShell for automating workflows.
• Proficiency in using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse IDE or Visual Studio Code.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Proven ability to take the initiative and drive for results.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $73,500 - $140,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
